ALL TRANSACTION INFORMATION IS KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.

1.    What information is needed to tell you what I want to order?

Personal Information
Print or type your name, full address, email address, phone number, if needed by a specific date.

Include a copy of email correspondence (only the latest relevant page with items listed with P+H)
is required or write legibly or print or type what you are ordering.

Specify which way you want the items sent out according to P+H options presented to you in our email.

If you are sending in your order without confirming items are in stock - your order may be delayed if we are waiting to hear back from you about P+H or if items are not available.

Please "white list" our email address, so you will get our emails confirming your order or presenting P+H options for your response.

If you haven't heard back from us, check your junk mail folder, as our email may have gone there instead of directly to your inbox or your SPAM filters may have blocked it.

Order Information
You can copy and paste from our web pages directly into email or supply the following information.

CARDS - list in chronological order, year, brand, card #, player name, condition wanted (if more than one condition listed), price

SETS - sport, year, brand, price

PHOTOS - code # or description, player name, team, price

POSTERS - sport, code #, player name, team, price

BOOKS / MAGAZINES - title, issue # or date, year, condition, price

PINS - sport, league, style, manufacturer, team, price

KEYCHAINS - league, style, team, description if variations, price

MINI STICKS - player stick or goalie stick, year, team or player name, price

BANNERS - 3x5 vertical banner, team logo or Stanley Cup commemorative team, price

FLAGS - state size - antenna flag, mini flag or 3x5 horizontal flag, team, price

CAPS - league, cap style, manufacturer, team, price

T-SHIRTS - league, style, manufacturer, team or description, size, price

JERSEYS - league, style: pro or replica - type: white, color, third, team, size, price

2.    How do I place the order?

Orders can be emailed, faxed in, mailed in, phoned in.

We have a credit card registration form that can be filled out, SIGNED and either faxed in or mailed in.

Do not email in your credit card info - emails are not secure.

Remember that if your order is a rush order, it is recommended to fax in your credit card registration authorization, rather than mailing it.
Mailing in your credit card registration form will take @ 1 week or so before we receive it and then add on the delivery time back to you.

PRE-REGISTRATION FORM

To protect you from interception of credit card information traveling through the computer networks,
please use our pre-registration form for all customers wanting to send future orders via e-mail.

Please fill it out, print it out on your printer, SIGN it and mail or fax the form in to us.
The form does not come directly to us over the internet.

Once you have registered with us, future orders can be e-mailed to us. After we confirm the order with you by email and know how you want to have the order shipped out, we will charge the credit card number we have on file for the return address on your e-mail message and ship to the address on file.

If any of your account information changes, you will need to fax or mail us the corrections via the postal service.

We will not ship to any address not on this form without written, signed permission from you.
We need your signature for all changes. For your protection, we won`t do changes over the phone or the net.

You will not be charged for any items until shipment has been made.

3.    I know what I want to order.
      Why should I email or call you first before sending in my payment?

All items are subject to availability, as our stock changes on a regular basis.

You should email us the exact items that you want to order - so we can confirm the items are in stock and put them aside for you.

The web pages are not always up to date, as much as we would like them to be.
We have a lot of one of a kind items and can reserve the items for you.
Items will be held 14 days awaiting payment.

Postage & Handling fees (and Sales Tax on Canadian orders) is extra.
5% GST is applicable to all Canadian orders except
13% HST is applicable to Canadian orders from NB, NL, ON
14% HST is applicable to Canadian orders from PEI
15% HST is applicable to Canadian orders from NS

Please let us know if the items are needed for a specific date, so we can calculate appropriate P+H options (and tax if applicable).

We have had forms come in the mail late, after the date the items were needed for.

4.    How do you ship orders? What is the delivery time?

All orders shipped via the postal system. The majority of orders are sent within 24 to 48 hours.

All orders are packed carefully with appropriate packing materials.
Photos are sent flat in between cardboard, posters are sent rolled in poster tube or box.
We will make boxes if we do not have an appropriate size available.
We do not ship in oversize containers which can affect P+H rates by dimensional weight rather than on actual weight.

CANADA

- letter mail, no insurance (maximum thickness & weight restrictions)    @ 3-7 business days to major centers

- expedited ground mail, insured, tracking number    2-7 business days to major centers
- express post airmail, insured, tracking number    1-2 business days to major centers


USA    (light packet & small packet delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed)

- light packet airmail, no insurance (maximum thickness & weight restrictions)    @ 1-2 weeks

(small packet - no insurance - weight restrictions)
- small packet airmail,    @ 4-10 business days

(tracked packet - insurance limited to maximum $100.00 Cdn - weight restrictions)
- tracked packet airmail,    @ 4-10 business days

(parcel rate - (insured, tracking number, minimum size requirements)
- expedited parcel ground mail,    6-12 business days
- express post airmail,    3-5 business days


Rarely - USA Customs & International Customs may decide to pull the package aside for closer inspection
This may cause unexpected delays in shipping time and are beyond the post office`s control.


INTERNATIONAL    (delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed)

- light packet airmail, no insurance (maximum thickness & weight restrictions)    @ 6-10 business days

(small packet - no insurance - weight restrictions - customs duty may be applicable)
- small packet surface mail,    @ 4-6 weeks

5.    Why don`t you list P+H rates?

We don't list P+H rates because every order is unique. We carry such a wide range of products, there is no way to know what combination of items a customer will order or the destination where the order is going to.

6.    How will I know how much P+H will be?

P+H is dependant on the weight, the size of the package, the value of the order and the final destination.

* Please email us exactly what you want to order.

* Tell us the full address where the order will be going to.

* Please let us know if the items are needed for a specific date, so we can calculate appropriate P+H (and tax if applicable).

* We will email you back different P+H options if more than one option is available.

* Please email us back to let us know which way you want the items sent out or if you want to cancel your order.

7.    What forms of payment does Ab D Cards accept?

Visa card Master Card American Express

Payment from Canadian residents is in Canadian funds.

Credit Cards - Visa, Master Card, American Express
Credit cards are billed in Canadian funds and your bank will exchange it back to your local currency on your bank statement.

Money Orders***, Bank Drafts, Money Grams, Western Union, Travelers Express are made payable to AB D. CARDS.

US & International orders

Money orders*** etc. are in US funds. Any US bank, US grocery, Travelers Express or Western Union money order is fine.

***Sorry - We can NO LONGER ACCEPT any money orders from the US POST OFFICE -
- our bank is refusing to accept them for deposit as there has been too many forgeries of the US Postal money orders.***

Wired money grams are in Canadian funds - physical money grams are in US funds.

Cash - sent at your own risk - we are not responsible for any cash that does not reach us.
(If you must send cash - wrap bills in paper and tape down any loose coins.)
Loose coins may rip through the envelope and get lost in the mail, or we may not receive damaged letters.

We DO NOT accept Personal checks / cheques, US postal money orders. We are not set up for PayPal.

Always include a note of what you are ordering or a copy the latest email with what you are ordering, along with your name, address, phone number and email address written legibly with all payments.

We have had payments come with no note, and we did not recognize the name on the envelope as we had been corresponding with an email address which did not contain the name. We had to wait for the person to get back to us looking for their order to find out who it was from and what they wanted to order.

8.    Why should I always fill in the Subject line to an email?
      Why should I reply at the top of email messages instead of at the bottom?

Emails with appropriate subject lines are looked at first. It is easier to locate specific emails later on.

Emails without subject lines may be deleted unintentionally by our ISP (Internet Service Provider) or overlooked as unimportant or spam.
We get a lot of spam emails which get deleted automatically.

"When sending a reply to us, please remember to include all previous correspondence.
Please reply at the TOP of the messages."

In Outlook Express and most email programs - go to Tools, go to Options, click on the Send tab, make sure Include Message In Reply is checked, click OK.

By including previous email messages, it is easy to refer to what we were talking about, instead of trying to hunt up old emails, which may have been possibly deleted already.

When we both reply at the top of messages, it is easy to see the latest email answers when we open the email, instead of hunting through out the email message or messages to find your answer.

We have had emails with just a one word answer and have had to hunt for the old email to see what they were answering to.

9.    How did I get on your mailing list?

You may be placed on our mailing list if you have ordered from us in the past, have made email enquiries from us, or signed up on the web site.

We try to keep emails specific to your interests. Pins, pucks, photos, CFL cards, publications, specific teams etc.

You can always unsubscribe from the specific list or all lists at any time.
We send out emails sporadically when we get new product, update web pages related to your interests.

You can always emails us specific areas of interest - collecting certain types of items, specific teams, specific leagues etc.

Please make sure you white list Ab D. Cards to keep receiving emails from us.

Your privacy is important to us. Your email address will never be shared without your permission.

10.    Why should I white list or add "Ab D Cards" to my friends list?

White listing can tell your ISP (Internet Service Provider) that you want to receive emails from Ab D. Cards

With the advent of outrageous volumes of unwanted email these days, it's unfortunate that legitimate emails are not being seen by some of the readers who requested information. There is much fear today that the email marketing industry is in serious trouble, due to mistakes in filtering when legitimate email is erroneously tagged as unwanted email.

While we applaud the anti-spam industry for removing the plethora of unwanted email from many of our mailboxes, from time to time, some legitimate email responses are mistaken as unwanted.

Sometimes, this results in our mailings bouncing back, with requests for us to respond to challenge/response messages to prevent future filtering.

If you currently use an anti-spam program or service, we ask that you take just a minute or two to add our domain or email address to your "safe" or permitted email sender list. This usually involves simply adding our sending address (From:) to your white list, safe list, or list of privileged senders. This is commonly known as white listing.

12.    I am in Calgary. Can I pick up my order?

We are not located at the address online. Call or email a few days in advance for an appointment.

We do not have a physical store anymore and are not set up for browsing.
We will need advance notice, so we can pull the items together for you to see or pick up.

There will be no P+H charged, but 5% GST is extra.

13.    I see something listed I want to buy, but there is no picture link?

We are working on getting everything scanned with picture links.

You can email us what you want to see specifically and we will see if we can scan it for you and send the scan in the email.
